The Science Behind The Film

I was pleased to discover this morning that the Utah Educational Network (uen.org) runs a podcast every Friday where scientists break down the “science behind” science fiction and also talk about their own careers in science. Cool stuff. This week Valy Vardeny, professor of physics at University of Utah, discusses the use of lasers in Teenagers from Outer Space. A few technical inaccuracies (as always) but it’s definitely worth a listen. Check it out!

    1. It is still maintained! Documentary is still, slowly, being pulled together, as we’re still looking for funding!
