I wanted to share a cool site I stumbled across recently: the Internet Movie Car Database. The site is an online archive dedicated to identifying picture vehicles, especially classic vehicles, in films.
They have a surprisingly in-depth section on Teenagers from Outer Space. You can check out dozens of vehicles, including Bryan Pearson’s 1941 Pontiac De Luxe Torpedo, driven by Nurse Morse (Helen Sage). You might remember this car from its explosive end in the film, when a woozy Thor drives off a cliff and tumbles into the canyon below. In reality, the crew didn’t have a permit for the stunt, so they left the wreckage behind.
